New Phytologist Trust partners with John Wiley & Sons to launch new OA journal - Plants, People, Planet

The New Phytologist Trust, in partnership with publisher John Wiley & Sons has announced the launch of a new cross disciplinary Open Access journal - Plants, People, Planet, led by Professor Simon Hiscock (University of Oxford, UK and Director of the Oxford Botanic Garden and Harcourt Arboretum). The new journal will focus on the interface between plant science and society, offering a lively and accessible forum for plant science research and discussion in its broadest sense.

IOP Publishing launches new multidisciplinary journal - Multifunctional Materials

IOP Publishing has announced the launch of Multifunctional MaterialsTM, a new, high-impact journal uniquely designed to serve an emerging field that now connects the materials science, physics, chemistry, bioscience and engineering communities, as well as industry. The journal is led by Andreas Lendlein, Director of the Institute of Biomaterial Science at the Helmholtz-Zentrum Geesthacht Centre for Materials and Coastal Research and Professor for Materials in Life Sciences at Potsdam University, and Richard Trask, Professor of Advanced Materials at the University of Bath, as the two founding Editors-in-Chief.

MDPI announces journal name change - Microarrays henceforth entitled High-Throughput

Academic open-access publisher Multidisciplinary Digital Publishing Institute (MDPI) has announced that its open access journal Microarrays (ISSN 2076-3905) has been renamed High-Throughput (ISSN 2571-5135). The journal will continue to be indexed in PubMed and Scopus.
