ALPSP conference to discuss how to use text mining to extract sentiment, insights and opinions from Twitter The Association of Learned and Professional Society Publishers has announced that Guy Singh of Linguamatics will be discussing how text mining can be applied to Twitter, a medium which uses a combination of both standard language, colloquialisms, slang and Twitter specific notation.
