Lippincott Williams & Wilkins (LWW), part of Wolters Kluwer Health, has announced that it has won 21 awards in 15 categories from the American Society of Healthcare Publication Editors (ASHPE). This is a record number of wins in a single year for LWW overall.

Allen Press to host webinar series on Best Practices and Innovative Solutions for societies, associations and publishers

Publishing services provider Allen Press, Inc. will host its fourth webinar series, Best Practices and Innovative Solutions, designed for the staff of scholarly and professional societies and publishers. Versita launches new Open Access journal programme

Academic publisher Versita has announced the launch of a new programme of Open Access journals. 100 Emerging Science Journals are being launched in 2012. The programme will focus on young and rapidly developing fields of science, which have not yet been covered by a designated journal. The emerging topics have been identified in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Medicine, Physics and Mathematics.

New journal Wound Care Advisor named official journal of the National Alliance of Wound Care

National Alliance of Wound Care (NAWC), a US-based wound care credentialing board and member association, has announced the introduction of its official journal, Wound Care Advisor. This new bi-monthly peer-reviewed journal is the result of a joint publishing agreement between NAWC and HealthCom Media.
