FIZ Karlsruhe's Inorganic Crystal Structure Database expands offer of evaluated records

The Inorganic Crystal Structure Database (ICSD), which claims to be the world's largest database of fully determined inorganic crystal structures, now offers more than 150,000 evaluated records. The database is produced by FIZ Karlsruhe and the US' National Institute for Standards and Technology.

HeBIS-Verbund of the Hessian Library Information System in Germany selects EBSCO Discovery Service from EBSCO Publishing

Electronic research databases provider EBSCO Publishing has announced that HeBIS-Verbund in Germany has selected its EBSCO Discovery Service (EDS) to provide fast and simple access to more content. HeBIS-Verbund chose EDS largely due to the comprehensive collection of metadata in the Base Index of EDS and the fast, seamless access to full-text content in other resources.

Official journal of the American Urogynecologic Society selected for indexing in MEDLINE

Female Pelvic Medicine & Reconstructive Surgery (FPMRS), the official journal of the American Urogynecologic Society (AUGS), has been selected for indexing in MEDLINE, the US National Library of Medicine's (NLM) premier bibliographic database. The journal is published by Lippincott Williams & Wilkins, a part of Wolters Kluwer Health.

Cambridge University Press set to publish new online only animal nutrition journal

Academic publisher Cambridge University Press has announced that it will publish a new online only animal nutrition journal. The new journal entitled Journal of Applied Animal Nutrition (JAAN) will join Cambridge's list in animal science and nutrition from 2012. Dr Lucy Waldron will serve as Editor of the journal.
