Frontiers, the Austrian Science Fund and University of Vienna sign landmark Open Access Publishing Framework Agreement |
Under a landmark Open Access Publishing Framework Agreement signed between Frontiers, the Austrian Science Fund (FWF) and the University of Vienna, Austrian researchers affiliated with or funded by these institutions can now publish their articles in Frontiers' open access journals through a simplified process that covers article processing charges. In addition to a national discount and centralised invoicing process, the signatory institutions benefit from transparent, comprehensive reporting on expenditures and research outputs at an institutional and national level. Royal Society of Chemistry names Dr Peter Vikesland as the new Editor-in-Chief of Environmental Science: Nano |
The Royal Society of Chemistry has announced that Dr Peter Vikesland will be the next Editor-in-Chief of their journal Environmental Science: Nano. He previously served on the Editorial Board of the Royal Society of Chemistry journal Environmental Science: Water Research & Technology and will move to his new role on January 1, 2018. He will succeed current Editor-in-Chief Dr Vicki H. Grassian. More

AAUP is now the Association of University Presses |
The Association of American University Presses (AAUP) has announced a name change to the Association of University Presses (AUPresses), effective immediately. The membership of the Association voted in June to undertake this change, as part of a strategic assessment of the organisation's identity, mission, and goals.
