Academic publisher Oxford University Press and the Entomological Society of America (ESA) have launched a new journal - Insect Systematics and Diversity (ISD). With the publication of its first issue on October 25, ISD joins ESA's portfolio of eight other journals. The journal is led by Co-Editors-in-Chief Dr. Sydney A. Cameron and Dr. James B. Whitfield, both professors at the University of Illinois.

The journal is jointly run by the Institute of Electronics, Chinese Academy of Sciences (IECAS) and China Radar Industry Association (CRIA). Being a high-level academic exchange platform in China's radar research, the journal covers the most important developments in radar technology in recent years and gives us a picture on the highly diverse modern uses of radars.

Pearson and Oakton Community College partner to increase access to affordable course materials |
Pearson has announced its partnership with Oakton Community College, located in Des Plaines, Illinois, to digitally deliver course materials to students at significant cost savings. The institution launched its Digital Direct Access program in the fall of 2017, beginning with a pilot focused on 300 students enrolled in the BUS 101: Introduction to Business course. The course provides learners with first day of class access to Pearson's MyLab Intro to Business online homework, tutorial, and assessment content and technology.
