The Association of periOperative Registered Nurses and Wiley announce publishing partnership

Publisher John Wiley and Sons Inc. has been selected by the Association of periOperative Registered Nurses (AORN) as its publishing partner for its distinguished publication, the AORN Journal. This agreement will see the journal move to the Wiley Online Library platform in January 2018.

ALPSP partners with ACCUCOMS' Aggregagent to offer sales services for members

The Association of Learned and Professional Society Publishers (ALPSP) has announced a new collaboration that opens up the Aggregagent to a large number of ALPSP member organisations, and sees the relaunch of the ALJC (ALPSP Learned Journals Collection) as 'ALPSP Collections' within the Aggregagent framework. The long-standing ALJC used to be available through Swets until it ceased trading in 2014, and since then ALPSP has been seeking a new partner for this important benefit of membership.

The Journal of Astronomical Telescopes, Instruments, and Systems (JATIS), published by the not-for-profit SPIE, the international society for optics and photonics, is now included in the Science Citation Index Expanded (SCIE), part of the Web of Science. The Journal of Astronomical Telescopes, Instruments, and Systems, edited by Mark Clampin of NASA Goddard Space Flight Center, is indexed in SCIE with coverage beginning in Volume 1, Issue 1.

Highlights from Controlled Vocabularies Workshop in #COAR2017 Annual Meeting

The COAR Controlled Vocabularies Workshop was held on May 8, 2017 at the COAR 2017 Annual Meeting. More than 40 participants joined in the half day open session. The session was organised to introduce COAR vocabularies to the members including what has been done so far, a discussion environment for the existing vocabularies, and next agenda items of the Controlled Vocabularies Interest Group for the coming year.
