Wolters Kluwer enhances formulary monograph service and pharmacogenomics content in Lexicomp

The Health division of Wolters Kluwer, a global provider of information and point of care solutions for the healthcare industry, is continuing its commitment to providing user-friendly access to timely, relevant drug information by enhancing valuable special features in its Lexicomp® Online electronic drug reference solution. This includes upgrading the interface of the Formulary Monograph Service module and introducing summary pharmacogenomics monographs for easier, point-of-care clinical use.

BMJ partners with Guangdong Family Doctor Association to support primary healthcare in China

Healthcare knowledge provider BMJ has partnered with Guangdong Family Doctor Association to make their fully translated Chinese edition of BMJ Best Practice available to over two million primary healthcare professionals across China. Last week, the UK's Health Secretary, Jeremy Hunt, attended the signing ceremony at the UK-China Healthcare summit in Shanghai.

CDL announces new consortial contract for systemwide access to Taylor & Francis journals

The California Digital Library has finalized an agreement on a new consortial contract for systemwide access to Taylor & Francis journals effective with the 2016 calendar year. The new agreement, negotiated and implemented early in 2016 but only recently finalized, is a successor to a previous T&F contract that was cancelled in 2013.

PKP's Open Journal Systems now being used by over 10,000 active journals worldwide

Public Knowledge Project (PKP) has announced that its Open Journal Systems (OJS) is now being used by more than 10,000 active journals around the world. These numbers only include journals that are active, defined as having published at least 10 articles in the current year (with an average of 42 overall). This makes OJS the leading online publishing platform, with more active titles than any other provider, including the major commercial publishers.
