Elsevier announces reseller agreement with Healthcare Software Solutions

STM publisher Elsevier has entered into an exclusive reseller agreement with Healthcare Software Solutions (HSS), the largest radiology information system (RIS) vendor in the UK, to sell Elsevier's STATdx solution. STATdx is an online imaging diagnostic decision support tool, into its customer/prospect base which includes NHS Trust's Radiology Departments within the UK.

Wiley partners with ASBMR to launch new OA journal - JBMR Plus

Publisher John Wiley and Sons, Inc. and The American Society for Bone and Mineral Research (ASBMR) have announced plans to launch a new international, open access peer-reviewed publication, JBMR Plus, in 2017. JBMR Plus joins ASBMR's flagship subscription journal, Journal of Bone and Mineral Research® (JBMR), as the favoured venue for publishing original research on all aspects of bone and musculoskeletal research through open access publication.

Ex Libris Alma Mobile app now available for Apple iOS and Google Android devices

Ex Libris®, a ProQuest company, has announced the release of Ex Libris Alma® Mobile. The new app enables librarians to work with the Alma service quickly and easily while on the go. Alma Mobile provides Pick Up From Shelf functionality, significantly enhancing librarians' productivity by allowing them to take the Alma service to the stacks. In addition, librarians can use their mobile device's built-in camera to scan in items directly from the app.

Research Councils appoint Prof. Stuart Taberner as new Director of International and Interdisciplinary Research

Data Conversion Laboratory (DCL), industry leader in converting content into digital formats, is currently providing digitisation services to the Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA) through the Library of Congress' (LOC) Federal Library and Information Network (FEDLINK) program.
