Three Elsevier books receive 2016 textbook awards in the College category from Textbook & Academic Authors Association STM publisher Elsevier has announced that three of its books will receive 2016 textbook awards in the College category from the Textbook & Academic Authors Association (TAA). Two titles will receive the Textbook Excellence Award, better known as a 'Texty,' and one title will receive the Most Promising New Textbook Award. To be published quarterly, The Humanistic Psychologist publishes papers from contributors worldwide on qualitative, quantitative and mixed methods research; humanistic, existential, constructivist and transpersonal theories and psychotherapies; and articles grounded in phenomenological, hermeneutic, critical, feminist and multicultural perspectives. They propose a lightweight, open-source collaborative collection development platform, called Cobweb.
