Speakers for London Education Conference announced

The International Publishers Association (IPA) and The London Book Fair (LBF) have announced that the fourth edition of their successful What Works? Successful Education Policies, Resources and Technologies education conference will take place on April 12, 2016 in association with The Publishers Association. Top level speakers from major international agencies, education institutions and publishers from countries including America, Brazil, France, China, Germany, Mexico and The Netherlands will present throughout the day.

Elsevier launches the first integrated web-based pathology curriculum, PATHPrimer

STM publisher Elsevier has announced the launch of PATHPrimer, the first integrated web-based pathology curriculum. PATHPrimer draws upon the knowledge and expertise of thought leaders in pathology to deliver the most comprehensive anatomic pathology curriculum available. The PATHPrimer official launch will take place at the United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology (USCAP) 105th Annual Meeting taking place at the Washington State Convention Center in Seattle, WA.

Annette Thomas, former Chief Executive Officer, Macmillan Science and Education, to step down as Chief Scientific Officer, Springer Nature

Annette Thomas, former Chief Executive Officer, Macmillan Science and Education, will leave her role as Chief Scientific Officer, Springer Nature. Going forward, Steven Inchcoombe, previously Managing Director, Nature Research Group, will assume a broader role within the Springer Nature research organisation and become a member of the Springer Nature Board.

CCC announces findings from global RightFind roundtable discussions

The Massachusetts Medical Society Board of Trustees has announced that it has selected Lois Dehls Cornell as the Society's new executive vice president. Cornell will assume leadership of the organisation on June 1, 2016, succeeding Corinne Broderick who will retire in May after a 32-year career with the Society and serving as executive vice president for the last 14 years.
