Knowledge Unlatched partners with Scope to create MARC records

Scope e-Knowledge Center (Scope), a leading provider of knowledge services and a Quatrro Global Services company, has announced its engagement with Knowledge Unlatched (KU), an Open Access facilitator headquartered in London. The objective of this engagement with Scope e-Knowledge is to create MARC records from input metadata available in XL spreadsheets, .mrc / .mrk and XML format files for the 78 new books Knowledge Unlatched hopes to 'unlatch' (make Open Access) in 2016.

Elsevier announces updated edition of Laboratory Animal Medicine and new app for medicating animals

Dr. Stephen M. Hewitt named new editor-in-chief of the Journal of Histochemistry and Cytochemistry

The Histochemical Society has selected Dr. Stephen M. Hewitt, head of the Experimental Pathology Laboratory at the National Cancer Institute's Center for Cancer Research, as the new editor-in-chief (EIC) of the Journal of Histochemistry and Cytochemistry (A SAGE journal), effective January 1, 2016. As the incoming EIC, Hewitt will succeed Professor John Couchman, who is retiring as EIC after serving his 5-year term.

IET signs multi-year agreement with the Egyptian Government to join the 'Egyptian Knowledge Bank' project
