The American Society of Animal Science and Oxford University Press announce publishing partnership

The American Society of Animal Science (ASAS) has announced its new partnership with Oxford University Press (OUP) to provide production, distribution, and marketing services for the three journals in the ASAS Animal Science Collection. This agreement, which takes effect on January 1, 2018, fits directly within the new ASAS Strategic Plan to enhance visibility of journal portfolios, continue to emphasise global expansion, and to increase society revenue to enhance membership services.

Publons announces winners of 2017 Publons Peer Review Awards

Publons has announced the winners of the 2017 Publons Peer Review Awards, honouring the top contributors to peer review across all the world's journals. Ex Libris®, a ProQuest company, has announced that the Ex Libris Alma® cloud-based library services platform is now the system of choice for one thousand customers. The thousandth institution to select Alma is Carnegie Mellon University (CMU), which, like the 999 other Alma institutions, will benefit from the streamlined workflows of a unified SaaS resource management solution. Alma will be replacing the SirsiDynix Symphony® integrated library system.
