Elsevier updates second volume of Methods in Stream Ecology |
STM publisher Elsevier has announced the publication of Methods in Stream Ecology, Volume 2: Ecosystem Function, Third Edition, edited by F. Richard Hauer and Gary A. Lamberti. Updated to reflect recent advances in the technology associated with ecological assessment of streams - including remote sensing - Volume 2 covers community interactions, ecosystem processes and ecosystem quality. Elsevier also announced the publication of seven additional earth and environmental sciences books. More

Frank Vrancken Peeters to join Springer Nature as Chief Commercial Officer |
Senior publishing executive Frank Vrancken Peeters will join Springer Nature as Chief Commercial Officer on September 4th. This newly created Management Board level appointment has been established to support the future growth and strategy of the group. Frank will report in the short term to Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Derk Haank and then from October 1st to the new CEO of Springer Nature, Daniel Ropers. More
