Academic publisher Taylor & Francis Group recently announced that it will publish the Journal of Structural Integrity and Maintenance from 2016. The journal is the official journal of Korea Institute for Structural Maintenance and Inspection (KSMI) and covers the broad fields of structural engineering, construction materials engineering, and foundation engineering.

Global library co-operative OCLC has announced that the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana Cali, recognised for its high quality education by the National Accreditation Agency and Ministry of National Education, has become the first library in Colombia to use OCLC WorldCat Discovery services. WorldCat Discovery helps people find and get resources from their local library and libraries worldwide through a single search of WorldCat and thousands of e-content collections.

Dr. Jim Smith succeeds Dr Kevin Moses as new Director of Science at The Wellcome Trust

The Wellcome Trust, an independent global charitable foundation dedicated to improving health through science, research and engagement with society, has announced that globally recognised developmental biologist Jim Smith is joining Wellcome as the new Director of Science.
