National Library of Sweden signs Springer Compact deal on behalf of Swedish library consortium

STM publisher Springer and the Swedish library consortium for universities and research institutes (Bibsam) have finalised a broad agreement for Springer Compact running through December 2018. Springer Compact is a transitional deal combining reading access and open access publishing in one payment scheme.

VSNU and Taylor & Francis renew OA agreement

The Association of Universities in the Netherlands (VSNU) has renewed an agreement with publisher Taylor & Francis for 2016 and 2017. The renewed agreement offers the opportunity for Leiden researchers to publish open access without additional costs in all hybrid journals published by Taylor & Francis and Routledge.

UKSG appoints Sarah Bull as new Executive Director
