More Search for more news in this Category Search for more news in this Theme IEEE updates IEEEXplore platform to be IPv6 aware IEEE recently updated their IEEEXplore platform to be IPv6 aware, which means that if a user's machine has an IPv6 address assigned to it – even if the machine has both an IPv6 address and a regular IP ("IPv4") address available – the IPv6 address will take precedence for authentication. Machines using IPv4 only will continue to authenticate to IEEE using IPv4.
