While the full breadth of the effort will feature a lot of moving parts at multiple locations, there is no question that the content is the true star of the show.

Wolters Kluwer to be official publisher of the Cardiopulmonary Physical Therapy Journal

Wolters Kluwer, a global provider of information, business intelligence and point-of-care solutions for the healthcare industry, has announced that it is the official publisher of the Cardiopulmonary Physical Therapy Journal with the release of its March issue. The journal is the official journal of the Cardiovascular & Pulmonary Section of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).

FIZ Karlsruhe publishes new brochure within its 'Focus' series

FIZ Karlsruhe – Leibniz Institute for Information Infrastructure has published a new brochure within its 'Focus' series. "A Focus on Crystallography" is dedicated to the content and development of ICSD - the Inorganic Crystal Structure Database. The database's fields of application are illustrated by examples. The brochure also shows the close relationship between crystallography and mathematics.

Leipzig University of Applied Sciences becomes first institution in Germany to go live with Alma

Library automation services provider Ex Libris Group has announced that the Leipzig University of Applied Sciences (HTWK Leipzig) is the first institution in Germany to go live with Alma. A fully cloud-based library management solution, Alma enables all collections and resource types - whether electronic, print or digital - to be managed within a single system. Five additional German-speaking institutions are due to go live with Alma in the coming months.

Heritage Preservation announces leadership transition

Lawrence Reger, President of Heritage Preservation for the past 27 years, tendered his resignation, effective February 6, 2015. Under his inspired leadership, Heritage Preservation's efforts have advanced national preservation practice, policy, and prominence. Thomas F. R. Clareson, former Chair of the Heritage Preservation Board of Directors, has assumed the position of Acting President.
