Elsevier in deal to resell HCPro's HIPAA and Corporate Compliance content to hospitals and health systems across the US

STM publisher Elsevier has announced an agreement to resell HCPro's HIPAA and Corporate Compliance content to hospitals and health systems across the U.S. The new content libraries are available as part of Elsevier's comprehensive ICD and CDI eLearning solutions. HCPro Corporate Compliance provides individual courses for nurses, clinicians, physicians, coders, billers and executives, as well as staff in health information management, registration and front desk and nutrition, environmental and volunteer services.

Taylor & Francis Group and the Institute of Atmospheric Physics announce new publishing partnership

The Institute of Atmospheric Physics (IAP) has announced a new partnership with academic publisher Taylor & Francis Group to publish the IAP journal Atmospheric and Oceanic Science Letters. First published in 2008 and currently in Volume 8 (2015), Atmospheric and Oceanic Science Letters is unique in providing a rapid communication channel between academic communities concerned with the interdisciplinary research areas of atmospheric science and physical oceanography.

Dr. Marina Picciotto of Yale University named interim editor-in-chief of The Journal of Neuroscience

The Society for Neuroscience (SfN) has announced a transition in the role of editor-in-chief of The Journal of Neuroscience. Dr. Marina Picciotto of Yale University, a former senior editor of JNeurosci and member of the Society's Council, will become interim editor-in-chief, effective September 12, serving until a permanent editor-in-chief is named. Picciotto replaces Dora Angelaki, who served since Jan 2015.
