E-Book market set to dominate global book publishing industry with 27.8 percent share by 2019, says report

The Global E-book market is the fastest growing sub-market in the worldwide book publishing industry. Elsevier expands Food Science portfolio with seven new books

STM publisher Elsevier has announced the addition of seven new books to its food science portfolio. These include Handbook of Food Allergen Detection and Control, edited by Simon Flanagan; High Throughput Screening for Food Safety Assessment, edited by Arun Bhunia, Moon Kim and Chris Taitt; and Feeding Everyone No Matter What: Managing Food Security After Global Catastrophe, authored by David Denkenberger and Joshua Pearce.

Thomson Reuters and the National Research Foundation of Korea announce new initiative to integrate content within Korean Citation Index into Web of Science

The Intellectual Property & Science business of Thomson Reuters and the National Research Foundation of Korea (NRF), have announced an initiative to expand the global imprint of the region's scientific research by integrating content within the Korean Citation Index (KCI) into the Web of Science. By collaborating with Thomson Reuters, NRF hopes to increase the global impact of Korean research and international exposure of Korean journals, and encourage more scholarly exchange between South Korea and the rest of the world.
