Dr. Carolyn Bertozzi named founding editor-in-chief of ACS Central Science journal The American Chemical Society (ACS) has announced that internationally renowned chemist Dr. Carolyn Bertozzi will take the helm as editor-in-chief of its first fully open access journal, ACS Central Science, which is set to launch in early 2015. Currently a Howard Hughes Medical Institute (HHMI) investigator at the University of California at Berkeley, Bertozzi is widely recognized as one of the most accomplished and respected chemists of her generation. This is a move unprecedented for a group of STM journals, being supplemented by three new launches in the humanities. Cerner is a member of the Leidos Partnership for Defense Health, an alliance that includes Leidos, the domain experts in Military Health, and Accenture, a global IT and management consulting. Electronic Enlightenment is a project based at the Bodleian Library, University of Oxford, and distributed by Oxford University Press. It is available by annual subscription to institutions and individuals worldwide.
